Obituary of Kenneth Ray Gillespie

Kenneth Ray Gillespie, age 62, of Ivanhoe passed away Saturday, July 1, 2023. He was the son of the late Billy Gene & Peggy Dunford Gillespie, and preceded in death by a sister, Edith Baumgardner; one brother, W.S. Gillespie. Kenneth was a huge North Carolina Tar Heels fan. He is survived by his pride and joy daughter, Kaylee Gillespie; sons, Jordan Lee Gillespie of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Walter S. Gillespie of Galax; best friend Early Gregory; special friend, Hope Sullivan, his little Princess, Karaline. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
