Obituary of Martha Arlee Corvin

Martha Arlee Corvin, 93, of Wytheville, died Friday, August 11, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Carl Corvin, son, Roger L. Corvin, granddaughter, Kerri L. Corvin, son-in-law, Michael F. Smith, her father and mother, Charles A. McAllister and Lena W. McAllister, and three brothers and two sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Linda C. Smith of Wytheville; sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry W. and Kay P. Corvin of Rural Retreat and Thimothy G. and Nancy R. Corvin of Blacksburg; grandchildren, Heather S. Mabry (Mark) and Corie S. Calhoun (Brian), both of Wytheville, Carla S. Corvin, of Christiansburg, C. Tyler Corvin (Rebecca) of Simpsonville, SC, Kelley M. Corvin of Blacksburg, and nine great grandchildren, Jared, Brynne, Mason, Reese, Lucas, Julie, Aiden, Miles and Silas. Funeral service will be held 1 P.M. Tuesday, August 15, 2023, in the Grubb Funeral Home Chapel conducted by special friend and pastor, Reverend Steve Cornett with interment to follow in the New Bethel Community Church cemetery.
