Obituary of Kathleen Hensley Kuehl

Kathleen Hensley Kuehl, age 95, died Sunday, December 10, 2023 at the Mountain Laurel Nursing Home in Rural Retreat. She was the daughter of Doll and Lelia Copeland Hensley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Arnold Kuehl. She is survived by her daughters, Vicki Hensley and Elizabeth Groseclose, both of Wytheville. Her son, Christopher Kuehl and wife, Barbara of Wytheville. Two grandsons, Jarrett Kuehl and Adam Kuehl and wife, Jessica. Also surviving and three great grandchildren, Annalees, Jocleeyn, and Braydann Kuehl. Two special caregivers, Debbie Hylar and Felicia Thomas and her niece, Glenda Dunford and friend Bob Sullivan. Special thanks to nurses of Hospice of Southwest Virginia. Funeral service will be held 2 P.M. Friday, December 15, 2023 at Grubb Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Reverend Derek Cowan, with interment to follow in Speedwell Methodist Church Cemetery.
