Obituary of Theresa Marie McRoberts

Theresa Marie McRoberts, age 66, of Rural Retreat, passed away Tuesday, December 19, 2023. Theresa was born April 27, 1957, the daughter of Arthur Darrell McRoberts and Nancy Pearman Fisher in Fort Belvoir. She attended Fort Chiswell High School, Vocational and graduated in June 1975. She retired from Virginia Tech as a Switchboard Operator, and for 32 years she enjoyed traveling and spending time with her grandkids. Theresa was preceded in death by her father, Arthur Darrell McRoberts; grandparents, Arthur and Lillian McRoberts, Robert Glynn Pearman and Hazel Inch Dickson; cousin, Deborah White; nephew, Michael McRoberts, and 4 aunts. She is survived by her daughter, Andrea Hutchison and Steve Kincer of Wytheville; grandchildren, Alex, Doug, Rayne of Wytheville; mother, Nancy Pearman Fisher of Christiansburg; brothers, David and Ana McRoberts of Christiansburg, Gery McRoberts of Jacksonville, FL; sisters, Sheree Renee McRoberts of Radford, Melissa Sheffey of Christiansburg; multiple, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews also survive.
