Gary was a wonderful person, always upbeat and willing to help. He'll be missed by the many people whose lives he touched. The suddenness makes it hard to understand. Judy and the girls are in our thoughts and prayers. May faith, family and friends support you in these difficult days. Take comfort in knowing that he's in a better place now.

Judy and family
I am so sorry for your loss and he will be greatly missed. I so appreciate everything he did for me several years back for the farm and just to stay in touch.
He is the one that talked Wayne into buying Lowes stock and I’m very grateful that he did. The Crouses were Lowe’s at one time!.
I know he and Wayne are up there spinning yarns.
Blessings and love

Gary was always ready to lend a hand on the farm with working cattle, getting in hay, or anything else asked of him. One of my closest friends for many years, there are so many special memories of our elk hunting trips and farm adventures as well as many special social moments. We will miss you, good buddy.

Gary had a pioneering spirit. Everything we did together was an adventure, whether it was golfing, fishing, hunting, cutting firewood or just going to Sparta, NC to mow the camp house grass.
Whenever I cut firewood and feel the warmth of a wood stove, I’ll especially remember my dear friend.

Gary was a special man and a great friend. When I lived next door we had a huge snow storm and my driveway had about 4 feet of snow at the low point. I was shoveling trying to get my car out when suddenly Gary was there helping! He was that guy! My sincere condolences to Judy and the family! Been a while since I’ve seen him but I considered him my friend! Steve Byrd
