Obituary of Geraldine Coleman Cassell

Geraldine Coleman Cassell, age 90, passed away peacefully on April 11th, 2024. She was born on December 6, 1933, in Wytheville, VA, to the late Lester A and Margaret Virginia King Coleman. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Ray Cassell, sister and brother-in-law, Frances and Ralph Ogle. Survivors include her brother and sister-in-law, Harold and Sue Coleman of Wytheville; two sisters and brother-in-law, Shelby Jean and Roy Dean Spraker of Wytheville; Shirley and Carl Ayers of Wytheville; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Geraldine was a mother to so many. A funeral service will be held 2 P.M. Wednesday, April 17, 2023, at Grubb Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Pastor Casey Clemons. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 12 noon until service time. Interment will follow in the West End Cemetery.
