Obituary of Julius Burton Wright, Jr.
It is with great sadness that the family of Julius Burton Wright Jr., also known as "Ju Ju", announce his passing on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at the age of 72.
Julius was born on December 20, 1951, to the late and wonderful parents, Julius Burton Wright Sr. and Margie "Dean" Manuel Wright of Wytheville.
Julius is survived by his son, Aaron and Tracie Wright (wife), sister, Ronda and James Akers (husband), grandsons include, Roman Wright, Paxton Wright, Riley East and three step grandchildren, aunt Opal Aker, aunt Aggie Reynolds, special cousin Deborah and Pete Shumate (husband), Lady - his very special beloved dog, and many other cousins.
Julius is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
Julius attended and graduated from George Wythe High School. He remained a local resident and was greatly known for his car salesman services throughout the years. He gained many long-lasting friendships through his work that he so enjoyed. Julius never met a stranger! Julius was a kind and gentle soul who enjoyed many different hobbies and living life to the fullest.
With a great sense of humor and a laid-back personality, he will always remain in our thoughts and carry on in our hearts.
