Obituary of Patty Lynn Fisher Reynolds

Patty Lynn Fisher Reynolds, age 77, of Austinville, Virginia passed away peacefully on Friday, August 2, 2024, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on July 15, 1947, to the late Robert “Bob” Fisher and Bertie Callahan Fisher of the Huddle Community. She is also preceded in death by her son, Eldridge “Dubbs” Reynolds also of the Huddle Community. Patty was an outstanding teacher for over 40 years. She was the world’s best Momma, Memaw, and Mother-in-Law. When it comes to friendships, you could not compare to the love and grace she bestowed to those she loved. Her favorite past times included gameshow and soap opera watching and winning big at the casino. She was witty and smart and never met a stranger. You always knew where you stood with Patty and her love for her grandkids was immeasurable. Patty is survived by her daughter, Tammy Keith and husband Larry. Her grandsons, Tanner and Connor Keith and Ethan and Evan Reynolds and her special cousins, Jeff Callahan, Carol “Penny” Earhart, Sue Jones, and Nancy Scott. The family would like to thank Shannon Williams and staff of Gentiva Hospice of Wytheville for their compassionate and immediate care. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 P.M., Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at Grubb Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Jeff Callahan and Eddie Frye. The family will receive friends and family on Tuesday from 5:00 P.M. until service time. A graveside service will be held 11 A.M. Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at the Davis Cemetery in Cripple Creek.
