Obituary of Bill Crosley

Wilbur “Bill” David Crosley age 93, of Beckley, WVA, passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2024. Bill was born in Mt Holly, NJ to the late Wilbur David Crosley, Sr and Allie Jackson Crosley. He was a Graduate of Miami of Ohio where he played football, his graduate degrees came from Xavier and University of Cincinnati. Bill a United States Navy Corpsman Veteran having served during the Korean War. Bill was retired from Appalachian Regional Healthcare having been stationed in Kentucky, West Virginia and the Central Office as Administrator. Survivors include his wife, Regina Ramey Crosley of Beckley, WV; son and daughter-in-law, David and Denise Crosley of Marion, OH; two stepsons and spouse, Adam Bankston of Williamson, WV; Jason and Rastina Bankston of Kenova, WV; grandson, Sean Crosley of Marion, OH; brother, Jackson Crosley of Chillicothe, OH. Funeral service will be held 11 A.M. on Monday, August 26, 2024 at the Stage Road Chapel in Wytheville, VA with Pastor Tim Crigger officiating. Interment will follow at the West End Cemetery in Wytheville with the American Legion will conduct Military Rite’s. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the St Jude’s Hospital – 262 Danny Thomas Place – Memphis, TN 38105.
