Darlene Yonce Garland, age 63, born August 19, 1961, passed away on October 4, 2024. Preceded in death by her parents, Davis & Sarah Yonce, as well as Larry Davis, son: William (Billy) Garland, brothers: Emmett, Howard, Stuart, Eddie & Virgil Yonce. Survivors: Son-Dustin D. Garland and Jessie Frye; grandchildren, Connor, Cody, Emma, Carlee, Damien and Billy. Step- Children: Christopher Davis, Shawsville, VA, Larisa Parkman, Stoughton, MA, April Davis, Teague, TX, Jeff Sessoms, Charlotte, NC, Amanda Gravely, Meadows of Dan, Duane Gravely, WVA. Step- Grandchildren: Peyton Davis, Shawsville, VA, Neveah, Marcus & Gianna Parkman, Stoughton, MA, Caileb Mims, Elena & Kaylynn Davis, Elijah & Ezekiel Simpson of Teague, TX, Jace Gravely & Brian Gravely, Jr., Meadows of Dan. Siblings: Rufus (Celerina) Yonce, Jerry (Judy) Yonce, Carl (Doris) Yonce, Mabel Cline, Aileen (Ted) Brown, Frances Smelser. Sister-in-laws: Ethel Yonce, Frankie Yonce and Pat Yonce. A memorial service will be held 2 P.M. Sunday, October 13, 2024, at Grubb Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Reverend Judy Yonce. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1 P.M. until service time.
