Obituary of Randy Lee Kasey
Randy Lee Kasey, 35, went home to his Heavenly Father on October 22, 2024. Randy was from Fredericksburg, VA but for the last 10 years he lived in Wythe County VA with his family. Randy was a devout Christian who loved Jesus with all of his being. He enjoyed spending time with his brothers and family, he was an avid fisherman, a gifted guitar player, was an excellent carpenter, loved working on his truck and teaching his brothers how to work on their vehicles. He was also helping others if he knew someone had a need. He spent a lot of his time volunteering and especially helping his Mom. After his Dad passed away, Randy took on the role of "the Man of the house" with great devotion and pride. He devoted himself to spreading the gospel. His favorite verse was Philippians 4:13. In addition, Randy's Brother's called him "Bowling Ball Bowl". Not sure how that came about.
Randy is preceded in death by his father, Gary Lee Kasey; 2 sets of twin brothers; his papaw, Norman Eugene Gilland, Sr.; and his mamaw, Mildred Blackburn.
Randy is survived by his mother, Lori Kasey; brothers, Eric Kasey and Seth Kasey; his Nanny, Diana Gilland; his uncle, Norman Eugene Gilland, Jr.; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. We want to especially thank Tamara Davidson, Mary Neely, Tom and Jeannie Midkiff, and Harry Midkiff for all of their help and support, food, advice, prayers and the prayers of so many others.
A graveside service will be held 2 P.M. Sunday November 10, 2024, at the Davis Cemetery, in Cripple Creek, conducted by Pastor Greg Blackburn. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.grubbfuneralhome.com
