Obituary of Mary Marie Kegley King

Mary Marie Kegley King, age 76, of Wytheville, passed away Thursday March 16, 2017. She is preceded in death by her father, James Allen Kegley; mother, Edna Marie Umberger Kegley; and a brother, Kenneth Leo Kegley. Mary was a member of the Ft. Chiswell Church of Christ. She is survived by husband, Garnett Luther King of Wytheville; sons and daughters-in-law, Garnett Wayne King & Pam, Darrin Shane King & Cindy all of Wytheville; daughter and son-in-law, Michelle Renea King Govin & Robert of Wytheville; sister, Irene Blankenship of Wytheville; grandchildren and spouses, Shawn King, Shane King & Sarah, Brandon King, Brenna King, Derek Govin, Haley Govin Morehead & Joseph, Makenzie Govin; great grandchildren, Chase King, Payton Morehead; beloved pets, Bruno & Cocoa; several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Funeral service will be held at 2 PM, Monday, March 20, 2017 at Grubb Funeral Chapel conducted by Minister Steve Canup and Minister Eddie Braddy with interment to follow in the West End Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, March 19, 2017 at Grubb Funeral Home from 6 to 8 PM. Grubb Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
