Obituary of Hattie (Peggy) Hill Brown Crigger

Hattie (Peggy) Hill Brown Crigger, age 95, of Wytheville, passed away Thursday, March 23, 2017. She was the daughter of the late John Clyde and Sarah Scott Brown. Hattie was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Crigger; brothers, Rex Brown, Buster Brown, Garman Brown; sisters, Gerldine and Alma. She is survived by daughter, Barbara Crigger Williams; son, Gary Crigger and Lynn Johnson; sisters, Arvelee Church, Helen Thomas; brothers, Ralph Brown, Charles Brown, Ted Brown; grandchildren and spouses, Steven Williams and wife, Susan, Nancy A. Crigger, Michelle Williams Robinson and husband Glenn; great grandchildren, Trevor Williams, Victoria Hobbs. Funeral service will be held at 2 P.M. Thursday, March 30, 2017 at Grubb Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Pastor Andrew Bansemer, with interment to follow in New Bethel Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 12 noon until service time. Grubb Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
