Obituary of Mary Louise Wall Nichols

Mary Louise Wall Nichols age 65, of Wytheville, passed away at her home on Wednesday morning, March 29, 2017. Born in Wythe Co. VA September 26, 1951, she was preceded in death by her parents, William Henry and Bessie Jane Ring Wall and grandparents, Guy McNeal and Annie Louise Fisher Wall. After graduating from George Wythe High School in 1969. Mary was accepted by Bauder Fashion College in Miami, Florida, where she studied wholesale and retail buying in interior decorating. Her love for design was seen in her work when she was employed by the former Hillside Flower & Central Gift Shop for over thirty six years. Mary loved the Lord and was a faithful member and friend to many at Jubilee Baptist Church in Max Meadows, VA. She enjoyed working with the children in Sunday school and Children’s Church. Mary was known to lend a hand and help wherever she was needed. She is survived by her loving husband of thirty seven years, Frank Nichols and their family dog, Paco. Other extended family also survive. Funeral service will be held 2 PM Saturday, April 1, 2017 at the Jubilee Baptist Church conducted by Pastor Kelly Marshall, with interment to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 12 noon until service time. Grubb Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
