Obituary of Doris Umberger Houseman

Doris Umberger Houseman, age 76, of Wytheville, passed away Saturday, April 29, 2017. She was the daughter of the late William Edward & Mary Callahan Umberger and was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church. Doris is survived by her, husband, Ronnie Houseman, Sr. of Wytheville; daughter and son-law, Marina & Joe Marshall of Wytheville; son, Ronnie “Bubba” Houseman, Jr. of Wytheville; sister and brother-in-law, Joy & David Morris of Max Meadows; brother and sister-in-law, Ronald & Connie Umberger of Wytheville; grandchildren, Kayla & Matthew Beamer, Tanner Marshall, Lauren Houseman, Trey Houseman, Josh Houseman, Megan Houseman; 9 great grandchildren, special family friend, Wilma Nidiffer of Wytheville; Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Funeral service will be held 2 P.M Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at Grubb Funeral Home Chapel, conducted by The Reverend Mike Johnson and The Reverend Andrew Davis, with interment to follow in the West End Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday, May 1, 2017 from 5 P.M. until 8 P.M. at the funeral home. Flowers will be appreciated or donations can be made to Alzheimer's Association, 402 E.
