Ronald Eugene Thompson, age 50 of Wytheville, passed away Sunday, May 14, 2017. He was preceded in death by a brother, Danny Ray Thompson, and Aunt, Shirley Gayle Neugent. He is survived by his father and mother, Junior & Betty Akers Thompson of Wytheville; sisters, Patricia Brewer of Rural Retreat, Misty Thompson of Wytheville, Amy Spencer of Wytheville; brothers and sister-in-law, Billy Thompson of Wytheville, Steven Thompson of Wytheville, Bryan “Charlie” & Tanya Thompson of Wytheville; nieces, Jessy Thompson of Galax, Abbigayle Spencer of Wytheville; nephews, Jason Wright of Killeen, TX, Derek Wright of Wytheville, Caleb Thompson of Wytheville; favorite pet, Zach.
