Obituary of Walter "Buddy" Wilson

Walter “Buddy” Wilson, age 82, of Wytheville, passed away Saturday, May 27, 2017. He was the son of the late Walter Edward & Alice Rider Wilson. Buddy is preceded in death by his wife Helen Jones Wilson; sister, Margaret Smith. He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Patty & Jerry Caldwell, of Max Meadows, Polly & Dwight Hester, of Wytheville; son, Timothy “Pete” Wilson, of Wytheville; grandchildren, Darsha Wilson, Jessica Yates, April Hester, Sherry Eversole, Jerry Ward, Kelli Brewer, Justin Wilson, Hope Wilson; 11 Great Grandchildren also survive

Funeral service will be held 7 P.M. Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at Grubb Funeral Home Chapel conducted by The Reverend Buddy Dillow. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 5 P.M. until service time. A graveside service will be held at 11 A.M. Thursday, June 1, 2017 at Mt. Pleasant Community Cemetery.
