Obituary of Esther Marie Rasmussen Henderson

Esther Marie Rasmussen Henderson, age 93, of Rural Retreat, passed away Monday, June 12, 2017. She was the daughter of the late James & Anna Christina Anderson Rasmussen and was of the Lutheran Faith Esther was preceded in death by her husband, Orville Wayne “Swede” Henderson; son, Donald H. Henderson. She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl A. Henderson of Rural Retreat; sons, Robert W. Henderson of Arizona, James V. Henderson of Wytheville; 2 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive.

A memorial service will be held 7 P.M. Friday, June 16, 2017 at Grubb Funeral Home Chapel conducted by The Reverend Harvey Atkinson. The family will receive friends Friday from 6 PM until service time. Burial will be held at Bellevue Memorial Chapel, Bellevue, Nebraska at a later date.
