Obituary of Paul Rader Copenhaver
Paul Rader Copenhaver, age 88 of Wytheville, passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2017. He was the son of the late Maiden Joseph & Onice Bennington Copenhaver, a member of the Crockett Tabernacle Church and served in the United States Army. Paul retired from The American Screw Company after 28 years of service. He is preceded in death by a sister, Helen Copenhaver Wilson, and 2 brothers, Odell and Carl Lee “Zeke” Copenhaver. Paul is survived by his wife, Peggy Adkins Copenhaver of Wytheville; children and spouses, Joey Copenhaver of Wytheville, Robbie & Daronda Copenhaver of Wytheville, Becky & Loyd Kincer of Wytheville; sisters and spouses, Betty & Woody Johnson of Fries, Shirley Cregger of Crockett, Joyce & Walt Jennings of Salem; brothers, Arnold Copenhaver of Crockett, Jerry & Joyce Copenhaver of Aberdeen, MD; granddaughters, Sierra Kincer, Nevada Kincer both of Wytheville.
Funeral service will be held 7 PM Thursday, August 17, 2017 at Crockett Tabernacle Church conducted by The Reverend Richard Collins. The family will receive friends at the church from 5 PM until service time. A graveside service will be held 10 AM Friday, August 18, 2017 at West End Cemetery. The American Legion Post # 9 will conduct Military graveside rites.
