Obituary of Janis Bowers Dean

Janis Ruth Bowers Dean, age 71, of Austinville, passed away Friday, April 29, 2016. She was the daughter of the late George “Buck” and Bessie Comp Bowers. Janis is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Donna Davis and Wes Kearns, Penny Davis and Jimmy Cregger; sons, Allen Ray Davis, Kelly Franklin Dean, Jr.; brothers and sister, Deanna Bruce, Danny Bowers, Dale Bowers; grandchildren, Samantha Monday, Wesley Kearns, Brandon Kearns, Jeremy “Odell” Cregger; great grandchildren,Adrianna Monday, Riley Monday, Mila Monday, Leigha Kearns, Dylan Haggerty – Kearns; very special great grandson, Rylen Odell Cregger. A memorial service will be held at 7 P.M. Monday, May 2, 2016 in the Grubb Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Pastor David Osborne. The family will receive friends Monday at the funeral home from 5 P.M. until service time. Grubb Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
