I am so sorry for your loss. I just found out of his passing. I remember when I was young my mother and father Art and Flo Poth and my sister Sue would go over and visit. Many good laughs and times. The sleep overs I had at their home are wonderful memories. When their house was first built myself and Jacck got into a mud fight. momma was upset but Mr. Wayne wouldn't let her punish me. I was saddened to hear the news of Doug's passing. On behalf of myself and all the crew members of the USS Semmes DDG-18 we express our deepest condolances to his family. I served with "Rock" on the Semmes, in the same division. I remember when he was going on leave to get married. He played on the ship's baseball team, and was a friend to all.
It was a pleasure being one of his shipmates and serving with him on the U.S.S. Semmes. Rest in Peace my friend.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Hudson. Will always remember him coming into Food Country wanting Grainger County, TN tomatoes we got every year. He would always start asking me for them in April and I would have to always tell him it would be in July. He asked every time he was in store until I received them. He would always we talking about Will and Hody with sports they where involved in. Prayers to everyone.

I remember Mr. Hudson walking into the church every Sunday morning....and every Sunday morning I would greet him with a outstretched hand and his reply every single time was "Hey, Boy". lol, I never took offense and we always laughed together about it. He loved to carry on and joke, and I was ready every Sunday Morning to dish it back to him. Actually, I appreciated his sense of humor. Mr. Hudson will be missed, but I know he's with the King.....Jesus Christ. God bless all of his family, and may the Peace of God manifest amongst each heart of sorrow.
