Obituary of Pauline Stroupe Crigger

Pauline Stroupe Crigger, age 96, of Wytheville, passed away Sunday, March 18, 2018. She was the daughter of the late Robert Edward & Lula Hagee Stroupe and was a member of West End United Methodist Church. Pauline loved bird watching, gardening and her flowers, but most of all she loved her children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Ernest Wade Crigger, sisters, Mozelle Miller, Estelle Jackson; brothers, Vance Stroupe, Cecil Stroupe, Raymond Stroupe and grandsons, Robert Wade Crigger and Seth Madison Arnold. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Carolyn & Charles Phillips of Wytheville, Shirley & Wayne Arnold of Powhatan, Judith Riley of Clearwater, FL; grandsons and spouses, Tony & Gwen Duncan of Wytheville, Ben & Laura Arnold of Midlothian, Jon & Angela Riley of Columbus, OH; granddaughter-in-law, Margaret Crigger of Christiansburg; great grandchildren, Allison Dupoy, Sam Crigger, Abbigale Duncan, Zachary Duncan, Josiah Riley, Rose Riley

Funeral service will be 2 PM Thursday, March 22, 2018 at West End United Methodist Church conducted by The Reverend Richard Lindamood with interment to follow in West End Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 1 PM until service time.
