Obituary of Joseph Arnold Copenhaver

Joseph Arnold Copenhaver, age 91, of Crockett, passed away Thursday, April 19, 2018. He was the son of the late Maiden Joseph and Onice Bennington Copenhaver. Arnold was a member of Crockett’s Tabernacle Church and preceded in death by his wife Luella Mae Stuart Copenhaver; son, Larry Odell Copenhaver; sister, Helen Copenhaver Wilson, 3 brothers, Odell, Carl Lee “Zeke” and Paul Copenhaver. He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Ralph Dewayne & Gloria Copenhaver of Crockett, Danny Leon & Janet Copenhaver of Speedwell, Benny Leroy & Brenda Copenhaver of Wytheville, Hubert Ray Copenhaver of Wytheville; sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty & Woody Johnson of Fries, Shirley Cregger of Crockett, Joyce & Walt Jennings of Salem; brother and sister-in-law, Jerry & Joyce Copenhaver of Aberdeen, MD; 13 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral service will be held 4 PM, Sunday April 22, 2018 at All Nations Church of God conducted by The Reverend Richard Collins, Pastor Chad Dunford and Tony Copenhaver. The family will receive friends at All Nations Church from 2 PM until service time or at the homes of Ralph, Danny and Benny at any time. A graveside service will be held at 11 AM, Monday, April 23, 2018 at Rosewood Memorial Garden.
