Obituary of Cary Lynn Cook

It is with great sadness that the family of Cary Lynn Cook, known to friends as “Cookie”, announces his passing on May 1, 2018, at the age of 43 years. Cookie will forever be loved and remembered by his daughter, Destiney Lynn Cook, his father Gary (Norma) Cook, his mother Avis Crawford Collier, step father Jeff Collier, his brothers and sisters, Chris (Jessica) Collier, Mark (Renee) Collier, John (Tina) Collier, Casey (David) Byrum and Jennifer (Josh) Simpson, Nieces and Nephews , Jessica Faith, Kaitlin Hope, Little Mark, Grant, Hayden, Gabby, Brenden, Sydnee, Leyland, Gavin, Gage, Adalynn, Harper; Great nieces and nephews Kaydynce, Braxten and Gabriel. As well as numerous Aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and many friends. Cookie will forever be remembered for his big heart and willingness to help anyone in need.

A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, May 7, 2018 at the Grubb Funeral Home Chapel, 215 S 6th Street, Wytheville, Va., with Reverend Hal Lewis officiating.
