Obituary of Elizabeth Irene Goble

Elizabeth Irene Goble, age 93 of Wytheville, Va. was called to her heavenly home on June 3rd, 2018. She was preceded in death by her parents, William J. and Gordie Mae Robinson of Smyth Co. VA; three brothers, Robert, Jack and Don Robinson; four sisters, Cora Myers Hilda Lilly, Juanita Edmonds and Geneva Robinson. Elizabeth was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Wiley A. Goble, Jr. and Nancy of Dublin, VA, Larry Dale Goble and Jane of Marion, VA; two daughters and son-in-law, Lois Smith of Wytheville, VA, Linda Testerman and Ellis of Marion, VA. She is survived by seven grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and two sisters, Lovella Spencer of Lansing, NC and Lena Parham of Marion, VA. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Wythe Hospice of Southwest Virginia for their care and compassion during this difficult time.

Funeral services will be held on June 7th, 2018 at 2 PM at the Grubb Funeral Home Wytheville, Va. with Reverend Andrew Davis and Reverend Preston Sartelle officiating. The family will receive friends from 12 PM until service time. Interment will follow in Rosewood Memorial Gardens in Rural Retreat, VA. Friends and family are welcome to visit anytime at 120 Hedgefield Ln, Apt. F-4 in Wytheville, VA.
