Obituary of Andy Joe Hale

Andy Joe Hale, age 75, of Speedwell, passed away on August 22, 2018.

Joe was born on April 23, 1943 to the late John William “Tom” and Margaret Russell Hale. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Jean Hale; sisters, Frances Fowler and Arkie Johnson; brother, Russell Hale.

Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Samantha and Michael Auxer of Speedwell; stepdaughter, Brandi and Joshua Hagee of Speedwell; granddaughter, Oliva Auxer of Speedwell; step grandchildren, Gabriel, Michael and Madilyn Hagee; sisters, Anna “Betty” Funk and Jenny Hale both of Speedwell; brother and sister-in-law Gene and Faye Hale of Speedwell; brother-in-law, Fred Johnson; sister-in-law, Willie Hale of Wytheville.

Graveside service will be held 2 P.M. Saturday, August 25, 2018 at Speedwell United Methodist Church Cemetery with Reverend Jerry Bell officiating and American Legion Post #9 conducting Military Rites.
