Obituary of Effie Marie Davis

Effie Marie Davis, age 71, of Wytheville, passed away Tuesday, December 25, 2018. She was the daughter of the late Henry Newton and Ethel Marie Brunk Jones. Marie was preceded in death by her husband Earl Wood Davis; sons, Donnie Davis and Johnnie Davis, Sr.; sister, Linda Jones Davis. She is survived by her grandson, Johnnie Davis, Jr., of Wytheville and a special niece, Cherry Davis Guerrero, of Wytheville.

Memorial service will be held 2 P.M. Monday, January 7, 2019 at Grubb Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be held at a later date. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.grubbfuneralhome.com
