I was very sorry to learn of Pete's passing. I always looked forward to seeing him at the Grand Master's official visits last year. A true Man's Man who will most certainly be missed by his Masonic Brethren.

Just found out about his death. I managed for Conway in Roanoke and went to truck driving championships with Pete and Levi Jenkins in the early days of Conway. Pete was a class act and one of my favorites. I am truly sorry for your loss. I have a lot of good time memories with him. May the Lord help you as you deal with this loss.

Wytheville Lions Club and myself personaly will dearly miss this fine man’s kindness and inclusive humor. I never knew Pete to meet a stranger because of the servant heart he tendered. I will be forever grateful of his friendship. GodSpeed Pete. May God be a comforter for Mrs. Betty and the family.

First and foremost I would like to send my heartfelt condolences to Betty for the loss of the love of her life. No words will ever be good enough to ease her pain. We all have memories of our time we have spent with Pete in our lifetime. Pete was really close to my older brother Charlie Nuckols and they were not only cousins but truly friends. As many of us do we get involved in own lives and do not see each other often enough but there is always that bond that is never broken. I am proud to share the last name Nuckols with Pete and to be informed of his cancer diagnosis I could not find the words to express my sadness. I pray that God will wrap His loving arms around Betty and see her though the hardest time that she will ever endure and that all her family and friends will love and support her as well. Rest in peace Pete and I will see you again in Heaven In God's time.

My deepest condolences to the family for your loss. The Pattons of White Marsh, Middle River, Fallston & Rosedale Maryland send you our love and you are in our thoughts and prayers. I sure miss the family reunions we used to have, when as one of “Bud” Patton’s 4 kids we could see our extended family and dear cousins. If I were there Betty I would be giving you a big warm Patton hug. One like “Granny” Lou Ella Patton would give - the mattriarch of our family.
