Obituary of Barbara Ann McGee Grubb

Barbara Ann McGee Grubb, age 66, of Wytheville, passed away June 2, 2019. She was the daughter of the late James Talmer & Frances Rogers McGee, and was a member of Mt. Mitchell United Methodist Church. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband James Edward “Sonny” Grubb; brother, Hal McGee; grandchild, Kathren Grubb. She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Rodney Grubb, James “Darren” and Missy A. Grubb all of Wytheville; daughter, Jennifer D. Peters of Wytheville, Sheila Gregory of Roanoke; grandchildren, Jeffery Grubb, Katie Peters & Stephanie Dean, Kelsey Peters & Jesse Sims, Leann Peters, Brittany Gregory, Amber Gregory and 5 great grandchildren; sisters, Jane McGee of Wytheville, Alma Blevins of Pearisburg, Wilma & David Burks of Texas; brothers, John McGee of Texas, Donnie & Janice McGee of Texas, Kenneth & Maggie McGee of Piney, June & Shirley McGee of Max Meadows; sister-in-law, Margaret McGee; several extended family also survive.

A memorial service will be held 3 P.M. Monday, June 10, 2019 at Mt. Mitchell United Methodist Church conducted by The Reverend Ted Anders. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.grubbfuneralhome.com
