Obituary of Emma Lee Quarles

Emma Lee Quarles, age 93, formerly of Charleston, West Virginia, passed away unexpectedly on Monday June 13, 2016 at her home in Wytheville, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her husband Curtis Quarles, Jr. She is survived by her son Dr. Charles C. Quarles of Forest City, North Carolina, one sister Ida Whittington and son Jack Whittington, a niece Margaret Weeks, and sister-in-law Margaret Whittington all of the Charleston, WV area. At the family’s request there will be no visitation or service. Interment will be at Spring Hill Cemetery in Charleston, West Virginia at a later date. Grubb Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
