Bobby,
A little over a year ago ( June 25th) You passed away and I still miss you buddy. Going to your Business "On track" just does not seem the same without you.
So many wonderful memories with you and some great times we had together. I first met you at Crest Stores where you were the Assistant Mgr. and things were never the same after that. Pulling pranks on each other and stay up half the night laughing and joking mostly at my expense.
Your smile was as bright as the stars, your laughter boomed like a cannon, and the positive energy of being around you was infectious and comforting!
Sleep peacefully, my great friend...until we all meet again.
Missing you buddy.....
Love the gang ( Randy, You. Me, David S. & Mitch) Always..........
Phil aka Hebe!

I just heard about Bobby's passing and I feel as if I've lost a member of my family. A finer man has not been known. My deepest condolences to Teri, Chad and all of the great people at OnTrak. I got to know Bob first at Advance and then at his shop. He was always a man of honesty and integrity... always looking to help. And when an automotive issue was worse than expected, Bob's quick wit and humor always took the sting out. My friend, you will be missed more than I can express. May you be with our Lord and Savior now, resting in peace. Your reputation as the owner of the shop with "the best reputation and the worst location" will live on. But we didn't mind the location, because you certainly had and have the best reputation.
God bless Teri, Chad and everyone who knew and loved Bob.

We are so sad to hear about Bobby’s passing. He was our “go to person” for advice about all our vehicles and we trusted him completely. Mostly we just enjoyed talking to him about EVERYTHING! He loved his family and especially working with his son.
We will miss him very much. Love to all of you, Alfred and Dianne

My thoughts and prayers go out to the family - Bobby and me worked together at Advance Auto in Pulaski years ago . We had not seen each other for about 15 years until last year - But it was the same old Bobby that little grin that he was glad to see you and to talk about old times ( like the time we killed a big spot all grass in his front yard by pulling the transmission from his chrysler cordoba and trying to rebuild it i think we took that thing apart 3 times that weekend ) we never gave up But like i said that was Bobby . He never gave up ... Rest in peace old friend

Bobby came into my life when he was just 10 years old. I married his uncle. Chad was my very first nephew. I watched him as a young teenager grow his hair long. The only coat he would wear was an Army field jacket. Oh how he loved the Beatles. He would play Hey Jude over and over and over. He then grew into a very loving, kind young man. I saw he and Teri get married and then along Chad. I always just loved sitting and talking to him. He was always so jolly. Our family had lost one of the best. Fly high Bobby. I know you are having a great reunion in heaven. Love, Aunt Louise

I first met Bobby when my son Donald needed someone to check out an old C30 Chevy truck that he purchased at 17 years old. Bobby did everything he could to convince Donald to sell him the truck, but realized he wasn't dealing with a typical 17-year old when my son refused to accept more than double for the truck! When Bobby discovered Donald had a love for antique trucks and working on small engines and automobiles and wanted to pursue a career as a mechanic, Bobby began to share how he tried his best to discourage Chad from following his footsteps as a mechanic but Chad refused to listen. Bobby's sharing that story didn't deter Donald from becoming a mechanic either for soon thereafter, Bobby took Donald under his wings by allowing him to work as an apprentice at OnTrak where he has developed exceptional skills as a confident, well-rounded mechanic! Based on the lively conversations I had with Bobby, he never met a stranger. Teri and Chad, I know your loss is painfully felt by all who got to know Bobby, including me. My prayer is that God will fulfill His promise in Psalm 147:3 in your lives: "He healeth the broken in heart and bindeth up their wounds."

Teri and Chad, I have so many memories of you all throughout these many years. Many laughs, tears, ups, and downs. I had the pleasure of working with him twice in my life and enjoyed the friendship over the past 33 years. One of my funniest memories with him was at Disney World on the Tower of Terror. Someone from the home office told us it wasn't a scary ride, so we got in line. The video at the end showed me hanging on to him for dear life and screaming while he was just as white as a sheet. I remember it took him about an hour to get over it. He was shaking like a leaf afterward while I was fine once the ride ended. Going to play tennis while Chad was little at WCC and Chad remembering the squeaky frog I let him play with. Giving Amber haircuts and dog nail trims and all the Advance Auto nightmares we worked through together, including leaving that company. He was a cheerleader to me during career changes and his love of animals matched mine. I know this is the hardest thing you all have had to face and I have been thinking of you all constantly these past few days. I wish to surround you with love in the many great memories you all have and comfort now and always to you. Love you all. Terry Jo Hicks Largen

Teri and Chad, you all and your family are our prayers. I was shocked when I saw it on Facebook. I wish I could there but am presently in Missouri. He was always good to me as well as good to everyone. I especially am fond of the veteran’s day festivities he arranged to have the shop. Being a veteran I was almost in tears the first time I heard about it. Blessings to you all, he’ll be remembered by all he came in contact with.

Teri and Chad, I am so sorry to hear about Bobby's passing. My prayers for you both on the loss of your husband and father. Bobby was a kind and thoughtful person. We laughed a lot when I would bring cars to the shop to be worked on.. I wont ever forget his phone calls, Hey Cath, (you are not going to believe this!!) His shop worked on the cars for Mt Rogers CSB Skill Building for years while I was working in Wytheville. Bobby will be missed! Prayers for you both and family during this difficult time. Kathy H.
