My sister Kay Morrow and I would like to express our deepest sympathy for mr. Montgomery's family and friends. not only was mr. Montgomery A co-worker of my father. Bill
poole at the wytheville post office but we also lived on mr. Montgomery's mail route. He kept a box of bubble gum and he would hand it out to the children along the route each day. Every summer in July Mount Zion Methodist Church would have vacation Bible School and mr. Montgomery would supply each child with ice cream. He had a wonderfully kind and thoughtful heart. One year my sister was trying to push our sisters wheelchair through about 6 inches of gravel at the carnival and she was really strugggling. People just looked and walked by never offering any assistance. Not your dad as soon as he saw us he made a bee line over and got her pushed through the gravel and onto good ground . We just loved him precious precious man. Memories such as these that we hold of Mr Montgomery are more precious to us
than anything that could be bought with gold our prayers are with you during the times of your loss and the days and weeks to follow.
