Obituary of Stephen Tate Cooper

Stephen Tate Cooper, age 50, of Wytheville, passed away Monday, September 28, 2020. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bill & Helen Cooper and Ed & Winiferd King. Stephen is survived by his parents, Bill & Peggy Cooper of Wytheville; brothers, William “WM” Cooper III, & Michael Cooper both of Wytheville; nieces & nephew, Amber, Tessa, Clark, Julie; great nieces & nephews, Hayden, Briar, Gunner, Layken, Paislee, Hadlee, Ellie; Aunts & Uncles, Wilma “Bug” & Nelson Calfee, Donald & Ann King, Eddie & Phyllis King, Jerry & Carolyn King: great aunts, Charlotte Johnson and Leona Porter; best friend, Anthony Valentine. A memorial service will be held 7 P.M. Friday, October 2, 2020 at Grubb Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Reverend Richard Collins. The family will receive friends Friday from 6 P.M. until service time. Burial will be private.
