Obituary of Deborah Chapman Repass

Mrs. Deborah “Debbie” Chapman Repass, age 69, of Wytheville, passed away on Monday, January 25, 2021. She was born in Wythe County on March 14, 1951 to the late Raymond “Chinkeye” and Lola Akers Chapman. Debbie was retired Wythe County Chief Deputy Treasurer with 45 years of service. She was a member of All Nation Church of God. She was preceded in death by her husband James “Jimmy” Allen Repass. Survivors include her sister-in-law, Virginia “Sissy” Mahaffey; niece, Erin Bedwell; and several cousins; two dear friends, Linda Smith, and Emily Hurst; and her precious dog Ellie. Graveside service will be held 11 A.M. Friday, January 29, 2021 at West End Cemetery with Pastor Chad Dunford officiating. A celebration of Debbie’s Life will be held at a later date.
