I always remember Mark’s passion for sports. I was a teammate with Mark in 1983 when we went to state. I remember somehow he climbed up on one of the goalposts after we won the regional championship and he did it again when the basketball team won the regional championship against Radford at Radford University!
Mark’s passion for sports and the kids playing was immeasurable and his own passion for his involvement with racing was always full of passion and love. He also showed his love of his family and friends to which I am proud to be one of many he had gotten to know over the many years. I am for certain he is already getting back together with his longtime friend Tony Jones in Heaven!
God bless the Huff family during this time of remembrance for Mark.

Godspeed to Mark as he continues his journeys. (although a bit premature) Mark was Mark as we ALL know. He shared his goodwill and attitude freely with anyone who met him. We are blessed by his presence here in one way or another and he definitely will be missed by many. I know i will.

Hi, my name is David Donerlson and I would like to send my condolences to the Huff Family. I met Mark in 1988 when I came to Western Carolina University as a freshmen to play basketball for the catamounts. Mark and I became fast friends. Although fast cars was his passion it seems like Mark was never in a hurry and so laid back.
I have many good memories of Huff, but the one thing I always mention when I speak to someone about Huff is that he taught me how to drive in his new red Z. Not to many people would let you learn how to drive in their new car, but Huff was such a cool and funny guy it was no big deal to him. Mark had a big heart and will be sorely missed.
God Bless,
David Donerlson

Our deepest condolences to Shelia, the kids, Mary, Mike and the entire family. I was so saddened at the news of Mark's passing. Mark was one of the very first people that I met when I first moved to Wytheville almost 45 years ago. My dad worked for his dad at the dealership. We were great childhood friends, but even as our lives took us in different directions as adults, it never mattered how long it had been since we last seen each other, when I would run into Mark, it was just like "old times" and we could automatically just have a conversation like no time at all had even passed. I know he will be greatly missed by many! We will be praying for the entire family, Greg, Kim and Robbie Ring
