Obituary of Darlene Swisher Henley

Darlene Swisher Henley, 67, of Lexington, VA passed away unexpectedly Thursday morning, May 27th at her home. She was born April 30, 1954 the daughter of late Powhatan Marshall Swisher and Mary Ethel Swisher. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Marsha. She is survived by her loving husband Larry Douglas Henley, son Jason Christopher Henley and his wife Mary Modesitt Henley, daughter January Danyelle Collins (Henley), son Nathan Douglas Henley, grandchildren Layura Grace Henley, Douglas Wayne Lee “Buddy” Collins, Marshall Lewis Collins, her sister Diane S. Wade, and many cousins, relatives, and friends. She was a loving wife, mother, and friend. She will be deeply missed. A memorial service will be held at later date.
