Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Tate of Wytheville; son, Christopher Andrew Whalen; sister and brother-in-law, Sandy and Jerry Rose of Wytheville; brother, Samuel John Davis; two nephews, Steven William Dalton and Angie Chandler; Matthew Tyler and Destinee Rose; sister-in-law, Mary Ann Sutherland; cousin Debbie Sadler and numerous other relatives.
