Obituary of Virgil Lee Yonce

Virgil Lee Yonce, age 60 of Wytheville, passed away Sunday October 30, 2016. He was the son of the late Davis Grayson & Sarah Rich Yonce and was preceded in death by his brother Stuart “Tiny” Yonce. Virgil is survived by his wife, Patricia Ann Sisk Yonce of Wytheville; daughters & son-in-law, Joyce Ann Davis of Wytheville, Lesley LeeAnn Yonce & Scott Catron of Hillsville, Jessica Danielle Yonce of Wytheville; son & daughter-in-law, Wayne & Trish Richardson of Wytheville; sisters & brothers-law-law, Mabel Cline of Salem, Aileen & Ted Brown of Vinton, Darlene Garland & Larry Davis of Wytheville, Frances & Perry Smelser of Wytheville; brothers & sisters-in-law, Emmett & Ethel Yonce of Daleville, Howard & Patsy Yonce of New York, Eddie & Frankie Yonce of Cripple Creek, Rufus & Celerina Yonce of Alaska, Jerry & Judy Yonce, Carl & Doris Yonce , all of Wytheville; grandchildren, Madison Richardson, Toby Richardson, Sarah Davis all of Wytheville; several nieces, nephews and other extended family also survive. Funeral service will be held 7 PM Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at Grubb Funeral Home Chapel, conducted by The Reverend Preston Sartelle and Pastor Judy Yonce. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 PM until service time. Grubb Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
