My Dad was larger than life. He never met a stranger. He cared deeply for his friends and family. He had a way of always focusing on the good things in life. He taught me how to work hard and be a responsible adult. He would always say, "if you don't do it right the first time you will have to do it again". My Dad was the funniest person I have ever known. When I was a cheerleader he would stand up in the crowd and attempt to do the cheers with us. I would act embarrassed, but really I was so proud to call him my Dad. He knew how to make light of any situation with his humor and off the wall jokes. When I think back to my childhood I am so grateful I had a Dad who cared so much for me and my sisters and made sure we always had everything we needed and so much more. If you were lucky enough to know my dad you aren't surprised by any of this. The world is a lot less funny now that he has passed. In one of his last text messages to me he said he loved me more...no Dad, I have and will always love you up to the sky and back down. I have lost a father too soon but have gained an angel. I love you Dad.
