Obituary of Randall Eugene Musser

Randall Eugene Musser age 70, of Wytheville, passed away Sunday, December 5, 2021. He was the son of the late Fred F. & Edna Umberger Musser. Randall graduated from Virginia Tech and served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. After teaching school in Wythe County, Ran worked 30+ years for the Virginia Department of Agriculture as a Weights and Measures supervisor. He enjoyed living and working on his family farm, as well as tinkering with and repairing all types of equipment. He also had an ongoing interest in learning and understanding how things worked. He is survived by his daughter & son-in-law, Crystal & Jeffrey Diamond of Winston Salem; sister, Teresa Matthews of Wytheville; nephew, John Matthews of Wytheville; grandchildren, Benjamin Diamond & Jacob Diamond both of Winston Salem; he also leaves behind close friends, Danny Neel, Rhonda Younts, Gary and Julie Umberger, and Kenny and Renee Langston; a host of cousins. A graveside service will 2 P.M. Saturday December 11, 2021 at Lebanon Lutheran Church Cemetery conducted by Reverend Lon Tobin. The family will receive friends at Grubb Funeral Home Chapel, Saturday from 12noon until 1:45 P.M.
