Obituary of Mario Gilberto Esqueff

Mario Gilberto Esqueff age 75, of Wytheville, Piney Community, passed away on Tuesday, February 8, 2022. Mario was born in Cuba on December 24, 1946 and became a United States Citizen then serving in the United States Army and a member of the American Legion. Survivors include his wife, Martha June Jones Esqueff of Wytheville; two daughters and son-in-law, Michele Leonard of Wytheville; Melody and Shaun Blair of Max Meadows; son, Michael L. Esqueff of Wytheville; sister, Barbara Fisher of Kingsport; six grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at 6 P.M. at the Grubb Funeral Home with Pastor Chase Sink officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 to 6 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. American Legion Post #9 will conduct Military Rites. In lieu of flowers the family ask donation to be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
