Obituary of Randolph H. Cregger

Randolph H. “Randy” Cregger age 81, of Wytheville, passed away on Thursday August 4, 2022 at his home. He was born on May 3, 1941 to the late Everett Wade and Hattie Cox Crigger. Randy was retired from the American Screw Company with 42 years of service. He enjoyed fishing, Gardening, Guitar and spending time with friends and family. He was preceded in death by his two sisters, Charlotte Coe and Dorothy Catron. Survivors included his wife of 61 years, Peggy E. Cregger; two daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie and Alan Rankin; Lisa and Ray “Bo” Williams; sister and brothers-in-law, Brenda and Carl Riggle of Richmond, VA; Ronnie Catron, Earl Duncan; sister-in-law, Ruby Cassell; several nieces and nephews and close friends; special friend Miss Lucy the family dog. Graveside service will be held on 11 A.M. Thursday, August 11, 2022 at New Betel Cemetery with Pastor Steve Cornett officiating. The family will receive friends at their home at any time. In Lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the New Bethel Cemetery Fund.
