I'm going to miss you Coach. There are too many memories to pick just one. So I'll just go with the last words that we shared. I told him I'd see him soon and he "Nah "J", I'll see you on the other side. I love ya boy." I told him "well save me a spot then and if I can I'll bring some Bojangles sweet tea" He laughed and told me I could keep the fries. I love ya Coach. I'll see you again one day on the other side. J.

Coach Hinkle was my football coach at Carroll County High School in 1980-81. He was a good coach and a better man. He taught me ethics, hard work, and sportsmanship. I never had much talent but I gave effort and after my senior year I received the loyalty and dedication award. It meant a lot to me that coach Hinkle thought enough of me to give me an award for Tryin and effort, it showed he looked past wins and talent and looked at the young men he was coaching. He went on to great success at Salem high school as an assistant. I wish I could have seen him one more time and let him know how much he helped me taught me.God bless his family, he will be missed.

The class of 1962, Montgomery (PA) Area High School is grateful for the life of our class president. He was always ready to lend a hand even from a distance. He will surely be missed by all of us. RIP, no more pain.
