Obituary of Leota Roberts Kruse

Leota Roberts Kruse age 91, of Wytheville, passed away on Friday, September 9, 2022. She was born on January 23, 1931 to the late James Neal and Ada Martin Roberts. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Nancy Sexton; four sisters, Trula Webb, Edith Cornett, Dolly Powers and Lena Rymer; two brothers, Gerald Roberts and French Roberts. She is survived by a daughter, Mary Hedlund of CA; three grandchildren and spouses, Katelee Taylor and Jessie, Timothy and Ciji Hedlund and Matthew and Natalie Hedlund; four great grandchildren, Austin, Anika, Lola Hedlund and Bradley Taylor; sister, Gaye Miller; special niece, Shirley Hale; special friend, Marcie Hensley and many friends in California. Funeral service will be held on Monday, September 12, 2022 at 2 P.M. at the Grubb Funeral Home with Pastor Derek Cowan officiating. Interment will follow in the Speedwell United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday, from 1 to 2 P.M. at the Grubb Funeral Home.
