Obituary of Christopher Michael McFarland

Christopher Michael “Mike” McFarland, age 49, of Granite Falls, NC passed away Sunday, September 11, 2022. Born in Grayson County VA on May 14, 1973, the son of the late, James Buford McFarland, Sr. and preceded in death by a daughter, Kimberly McFarland. He is survived by his wife Linda McFarland of the home; mother, Martha “Linda” McFarland, Galax, VA; son and daughter-in-law, Joshua & Melinda McFarland of Barren Springs; daughter & wife, Keisha and Kristie McFarland of Richlands, daughter & son-in-law, Jennifer & Mike Rice, Lenoir, NC; brothers & sisters-in-law, James & Monica McFarland of Columbus, OH, Larry & Gerri McFarland, Galax, VA, Billy & Cindy McFarland of Max Meadows, VA; grandchildren, Gabriel McFarland, Aulder McFarland, Jameson McFarland all of Barren Springs, Chole Rice, Cailey Zantop, Cadence Zantop, Carmen Rice, London Rice, Teresea Calloway, all of Lenoir, NC.; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends also survive. Funeral service will be held 2 P.M. Saturday, September 17, 2022, at Grubb Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Brother Tony Vaughan. The family will receive friends Saturday from 1 P.M. until service time.
