Obituary of Sherryl Jean Porter Arnold

Sherryl Jean Porter Arnold, age 73, of Rural Retreat, passed away Friday, October 14, 2022. She was born in Cripple Creek on November 9, 1948, the daughter of the late Robert “Bob” & Grace Marie Jennings Porter. She was retired from the Department of Corrections and was preceded in death by her son, Daniel Craig Arnold and sister, Dolores Yvonne Porter Mollica. She is survived by her daughter & son-in-law, Shannon and Jason Doby of Max Meadows; granddaughters, Juliana Nicole Doby of Max Meadows, Kaylee Grace Long of Marion; sister, Elizabeth Ann Porter Foglesong; brothers, William Pat Porter, Stephen Randolph Porter, Wesley Alan Porter, Robert Daniel Porter; several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. A memorial service will be held 11 A.M. Saturday, October 22, 2022, at the Grace Lutheran Church in Rural Retreat conducted by Pastor Ed. Schaack, with inurnment to follow in Rosewood Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church Saturday from 10 A.M until service time.
