Obituary of Muriel Meadows Dixon

Muriel Meadows “Judy” Dixon, age 87, of Wytheville, passed away Saturday, January 21, 2023. She was the daughter of the late Earl F. & Mamie Chandler Meadows. Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Roland Dixon; sisters, Faye Smith, Shirley McDaniel, Joyce Altizer. She is survived by her daughter, Linda D. Crigger of Wytheville; sister & brother-in-law, Carolyn & Charles Hamill of West Virginia; brothers & sisters-in-law, Tony & Linda Meadows of Pearisburg, Bo & Missy Meadows, of Florida; grandchild, David Crigger of Wytheville; great grandchild, Ashton Crigger and his mother Kelly Sample both of Wytheville. The family would like to give a special thank you, to her nieces who was caregivers, Nancy Cave, Glenda Altizer and Hospice of Southwest Virginia. A graveside service will be held 2 P.M. Thursday, January 26, 2023 at Birchlawn Burial Park Cemetery, Pearisburg, VA., conducted by her nephew, Alan Cave.
