Obituary of Lynsey Jeanette Frye

Lynsey Jeanette Frye, age 42, formerly of Wytheville, passed away on January 23, 2023. Lynsey was preceded in death by her mother, Doris Hurst Frye, and is survived by her father, Carson Frye, and stepmother Marilyn Frye, brother Kerry Frye and girlfriend Becky Wyatt, nieces Taylor Frye and Kori Frye, also a special aunt Ila Haulsee. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 25, 2023, from 6:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Grubb Funeral Home, with funeral service to follow at 7: OO PM conducted by the Reverend Aubrey Whitlow. Burial will be held 10:00 AM Thursday, January 26, 2023, at Mount Mitchell Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, or the Shriners Children’s Hospital.
