Obituary of Katherine Ann Remines Jones

Katherine (Kathy) Ann Remines Jones age, 57 of Rural Retreat, VA passed away on February 7, 2023, in Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Kathy was born in Tazewell, VA on July 26, 1965, to James H Remines and Mary Patton Remines. She was preceded in death by her father, James H Remines Sr; daughter, Jessica Remines; sister, Edna Elizabeth Remines; brothers, James H. “Jimmy” Remines Jr, Robert A. “Bobby” Remines; niece, Maryanne Kellogg; husband, Samuel Corvin. Kathy loved talking to family and friends and getting together with them. She always looked forward to going to her sisters every year where they would watch the kids play and talk and talk. She loved being around her grandchildren and family. She is survived by her daughter & son-in-law, Elizabeth “Beth” Remines and Jason Saferight of Rural Retreat, VA; Mother, Mary Remines of Rural Retreat, VA; sister, Judy Remines of Remington, VA; brothers & sisters-in-law, John and Lisa Remines, of Rural Retreat, VA, Dillard “Ray” and Ann Remines of Seattle, WA; Grandchildren, Braeden Nichols, Samantha Saferight, Ashlynn Saferight all of Rural Retreat, VA; Friend, David Jones of Rural Retreat, VA; Several nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and cousins also survive.
