Obituary of Gracie B. Hale

Gracie B. Hale, age 88, of Speedwell, passed away Friday, March 31, 2023. She was born November 17, 1934, the daughter of the late Claude & Ollie Rhudy Igo. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Crockett Hale; daughter, Linda Hale Williams; grandson, Mikie Williams. Gracie is survived by her daughter, Bonnie H. Williams; sons & daughters-in-law, Raymond & Lelia Hale, Robert & Teana Hale all of Speedwell; grandsons & spouses, Jason Hale & Kara, Chad Hale & Jessica, Bradley Williams & Ashley; granddaughters & spouses, Rickell Cline & Jamie, Donna Chapell & Richard; 12 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren and several nieces & nephews also survive. Funeral service will be held 2 P.M. Monday April 3, 2023 at Grubb Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Reverend Derek Cowan with interment to follow in Groseclose United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 1 P.M. until service time.
